MORE Eco: Environmentally friendly ZERO Plastic™ packaging

Introduction of sustainable solutions is a major challenge for merchandisers and retailers. It is also a major challenge for merchandisers and retailers. How do we deal with the new trend in the industry, which is driven by purchasing decisions?

Recognizing customer needs

It is clear that the retail industry must respond to customer needs in a timely manner. And what do customers say? According to a survey conducted by YouGov in 2019, almost 46% of Germans surveyed gave up a product precisely because of its plastic packaging. Avoiding packaging waste is therefore something that not only helps the environment, but also exactly what customers expect from retailers.

Environmentally friendly packaging

Since 2020, we’ve been launching environmentally friendly materials in both production and packaging. When shipping the mannequins from our latest collection IN TOUCH, we will use the ZERO Plastic™ Packaging.

It means that, as the first company in the industry, we are selling mannequins in fully biodegradable packaging. It is a long-term strategy: from 2022 we will be packaging all our mannequins this way. In addition, we have set ourselves the goal of packaging our mannequins only in cartons with the FSC Certificate from 2023.

FSC Certificate - What is it?

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a non-profit organisation that promotes sustainable forest management and is also supported by the WWF. The FSC seal indicates that the wood used to make paper comes from forests managed in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
